During the three-day Qingming Festival holiday, Chenzhou ushered in an upsurge of spring outings.

From the vast mist-shrouded Dongjiang Lake to the towering and emerald Mangshan Wuzhifeng (Five-Finger Peak), from the seclusive Wugai Mountain to the ancient-style Guiyang Cultural Park with blooming flowers, and to the lush Beihu Park and Wanghu Villa—tourists from all directions lingered among the landscapes, enjoying the beauty of spring to the fullest.
At 7:00 a.m., a large number of tourists had gathered along the banks of Dongjiang Lake in Zixing City, waiting to witness the spectacle of "Mist-enveloped Xiaodongjiang".
On the lake surface, water vapor rose like a veil; a fisherman, wearing a straw raincoat and a bamboo hat, rowed a small boat slowly through the white fog, resembling a flowing ink painting scroll.
According to the statistics of the scenic area, during the Qingming Festival holiday, the Dongjiang Lake Tourist Area (around the lake) received a total of 29,500 visitors, an increase of 20.4% compared to the previous year.
To cope with the peak tourist flow, the scenic area dispatched additional guides in advance and set up multiple safety reminder points on the fog-viewing plank road, ensuring that tourists have a pleasant, comfortable and reassuring experience in the scenic area.

During the Qingming Festival holiday, Mangshan Wuzhifeng Scenic Area was extremely popular. Known as a “mountain that doesn't need to be climbed”, it allows tourists to take a panoramic aerial cableway and reach the cloud-covered boardwalk at an altitude of over 1,400 meters in just over ten minutes.
During the holiday, the scenic area launched a spring-themed activity, integrating the natural scenery of Mangshan with the culture of the Yao ethnic group.

On the squares along the way, several young girls dressed in Yao ethnic costumes danced the tea-picking dance, and their graceful movements attracted tourists to stop and take photos.
In the interactive experience area, children, under the guidance of the staff, used wild flowers and new leaves from Mangshan for plant dyeing, bringing the spring of Mangshan home.
According to statistics, the Mangshan Scenic Area (including Wuzhi Peak) received a total of 19,300 tourists during the holiday, a year-on-year increase of 23.7%.
“Many families chose to take the cableway in the morning to easily reach the top without climbing, enjoying the beautiful spring scenery. After experiencing the activities in the afternoon, they can calmly go down the mountain. The elderly and children don’t get not tired, and they have a great time,” said Zhang Jiarong, a staff member of the marketing department of Yizhang Mangshan Scenic Area Tourism Development Co., Ltd.
In the Wugai Mountain International Forest Wellness Vacation Resort, the new homestay inns and camping bases have attracted an increasing number of self-driving tourists.
On an observation platform halfway up the mountain, several tourists were resting on picnic mats, looking at the rolling mountains in the distance and smelling the fresh fragrance of plants and trees nearby, presenting a peaceful and contented scene.
At present, cherry blossoms, peach blossoms, and magnolias are in full bloom in Guiyang Cultural Park, with the eaves and upturned corners of antique buildings hidden among the shadows of the flowers. The blue bricks and black tiles complement the colorful flowers, like a carefully painted scroll of spring.
Tourists strolled around the park, either stopping to smell the fragrance of flowers, or holding up their phones to capture beautiful moments.

Guiyang Cultural Park is located in Guiyang City. Many historical landscapes within the park silently tell the 2,000-year history of this ancient county.
During the Qingming Festival holiday, the historical landmarks and the blooming spring flowers in the park attracted many tourists.

Data showed that during the Qingming Festival holiday, the city received a total of 1.654 million tourists. Among them, 368,000 were overnight visitors, accounting for 22%; 474,000 were visitors from other provinces, accounting for 28.4%; the average stay time of overnight visitors was 1.681 days.
