1,000 Hong Kong tourists had a four-day tour of natural scenery and cultural exploration in Chenzhou City from April 3 to 6.
The tour takes visitors along more than 10 premium routes to fully experience Chenzhou’s stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage.

On April 4, the Cuijiang Pier at Feitian Mountain Scenic Area was bustling with crowds, as boats shuttled back and forth, making it one of the most vibrant spot of the event. Tourists aboard the boats marveled at the breathtaking natural scenery, bursting into exclamations of admiration from time to time.
There were also many tourists from Hong Kong in Gaoyi Ridge Scenic Area. As a an iconic site of Chenzhou’s Danxia landform, it features striking red cliffs, emerald waters, steep ridges and fantastic gullies.
“I came here with my husband from Hong Kong. It’s our first time seeing such scenery, and it’s truly amazing,” said tourist Qin Xiaomei, deeply impressed by the charm of Gaoyi Ridge.

On the evening of April 4, they enjoyed a spectacular drone light show at the Feitian Mountain Performing Arts Center. Over 1,000 drones formed various formations and patterns in the night sky, drawing waves of applause as spectators took out their phones to capture the dazzling moments.
Yang Qing, business manager of Hong Kong Wing On Travel Agency, noted that Chenzhou, adjacent to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, enjoys convenient transportation and beautiful natural scenery, making it a popular destination among Hong Kong tourists.
“Last year, the drone show event was well received by Hong Kong tourists. This year, we have upgraded it and brought nearly a thousand tourists here, hoping more people can know about the beauty of Chenzhou's natural scenery and its cultural heritage.”
Huang Jian, president of the Travel Agency Industry Association of Chenzhou City, introduced that the tour covers top attractions including Feitian Mountain, Wuzhifeng in Mangshan, and Yangtian Lake, and also includes the tasting of local delicacies like Linwu Duck and Dongjiang Fish, as well as experiences of intangible cultural heritage handicrafts.

“This is just the beginning of the cultural and tourism cooperation between Chenzhou and Hong Kong this year. Subsequently, we will launch a themed event in Hong Kong every month to continuously expand the influence of Chenzhou tourism and attract more Hong Kong tourists to explore the city.”
