During the National Day holiday, Wanhua Rock Scenic Area in Beihu District, Chenzhou City welcomed a large number of tourists. As one of the top ten famous tourist caves in China, the scenic area has become a popular destination for family outings and geological study tours due to its unique karst cave landscapes and pleasant climate.

In stark contrast to the scorching outdoor temperatures, the Wanhu Rock Cave maintains a year-round temperature of around 18 degrees Celsius, functioning like a natural “air conditioner” that offers visitors a cool and comfortable summer retreat. Many parents bring their children here specifically to beat the heat while also gaining a close-up view of karst landforms.

The most distinctive karst cave rafting project in the scenic area is highly favored by tourists. The 1,800-meter-long rafting route features a 36-meter drop, with visitors passing through diverse stalactite formations.

Along the way, they can closely observe fossilized marine creatures from the Carboniferous period approximately 300 million years ago, combining recreation with educational experiences.

The number of visitors during this year's National Day holiday increased by 10% to 12% compared to the same period last year. To enhance the visitor experience, the scenic area has added six photo spots and interactive facilities such as a laser wall.
