A series of cultural tourism activities will be launched to welcome the Spring Festivalfor citizens and tourists in Chenzhou City.

The series of activities mainly have four characteristics. Firstly, it will integrate all the resources across the city, launch preferential policies such as scenic spot packages, cultural and tourism consumption vouchers to form a market pattern featuring all-round linkage and mutual promotion of consumption.
The second is to deeply explore local intangible cultural resources, and introduce traditional cultures such as Hunan Kun Opera, burning incense dragons, Yao and She ethnic customs into historical and cultural blocks such as Wayaoping and Changjuan, as well as core scenic spots such as Mangshan and Jiulong River, to create an immersive cultural experience.

The third is to construct multi-dimensional consumption scenes for all ages from day to night, from indoor to outdoor, from quiet viewing to interaction, with activities covering intangible cultural heritage, culture, natural scenery, hot springs, street art, and outdoor activities, to meet the needs of different tourist groups.
The fourth is to enhance interactivity. It will integrate trendy forms and communication methods such as NPC parades, flash mobs, stamp ins, online consumption vouchers, and new media sharing, encourage tourists to participate in interaction, photo sharing, bringing traditional New Year customs to the public in a younger and more vibrant way.

These activities indicate that Chenzhou is promoting an integration model involving cultural tourism and other industries, converting its cultural resources into experiential and consumable tourism and cultural products, thereby injecting new impetus into the tourism market during the Spring Festival holiday.
