Chenzhou adds new trains for New Year holiday

As the 2026 New Year holiday approaches, more trains will be operated at the Chenzhou West Railway Station to deal with the surge in passenger trips.

The passenger peak during the holiday is anticipated to occur at Chenzhou West Station on January 1 and January 4, 2026, with most of them being tourists and students, plus those for family visits, whose destinations are mostly big cities and tourist cities such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Changsha.

To meet the diverse travel needs of passengers and effectively alleviate transportation pressure, Chenzhou West Station has planned to add temporary passenger trains on the basis of implementing peak hour operation schedules.

Here is the specific information of the newly added trains.

A G9752 train from Shenzhen North Station to Changsha South Railway Station will be operated on January 1, 2026, which departs from Chenzhou West Station at 0:44.

A G9714 train from Shenzhen North Station to Yongzhou will be run on January 1, 2026, which departs at 05:56 from Chenzhou West Station.

On December 31, 2025 and January 3, 2026, there is a G8430 train from Shenzhen North Station to Changsha South Railway Station, departing at 20:36 from Chenzhou West Station.

On December 31, 2025 and January 3, 2026, there is a G6259 train from Huaihua South Station to Guangzhou South Station, departing at 11:34, and a G6260 train from Guangzhou South Station to Huaihua South Station, departing at 15:46.

The railway department reminds passengers to plan their trips in advance and leave sufficient time for security check, real-name verification during the holiday period.
