The 2025 National Camping Conference Chenzhou (Beihu Station) will be held in Longnyu Town of Rucheng County from July 26 to 27.

As the main urban area of Chenzhou, Beihu District has abundant urban camping resources. The city camping map will be launched soon. As the popularity of short-distance and weekend tours continues to rise, camping culture has captured the hearts of many people.

New urban camping sites continues to emerge in Beihu District, becoming popular leisure destinations for both citizens and tourists.

The Quese Camping Restaurant located in Gaobi Village, Luoxian Subdistrict is only a 20 minute-drive from the center of the city. It’s equipped with some thatched tents, small tables and folding chairs.

“We are very close to the city center, so we can have a completely different experience from city life without the need to travel far after work,” said Zheng Xihang, head of the campsite.

The campsite is equipped with dining, amusement facilities, KTV and others, integrating a relatively refined lifestyle into camping experience. It is highly sought after by those born in 1990s and 2000s who love traveling and socializing.

At the same time, it has also made great efforts in the design of cultural atmosphere and additional experiences such as social activities. It can undertake team building activities and provide a unique gathering place for teams. The campsite can

accommodate up to 100 people, with an average daily passenger flow of around 50 people.

“When the weather is good, tourists can see stars. Besides, as the temperature here is relatively low at night, one can hear frogs croaking in summer, which makes you feel like living in the countryside and feel quite relaxed here,” Zheng Xihang said.

Camping, as a new form of entertainment for urban youth, not only satisfies the desire for a comfortable outdoor experience, but also creates a new scene for cultural and tourism consumption.
