Shisansu in Jindong Village of Oujiang Town, Guidong County was rated as a five-star tourism homestay inn on August 18.

It is a high-end homestay cluster and an important part of Jinshan Mangu Resort. It is located 6 kilometers away from the county town, with dense forests and abundant negative oxygen ions.

The homestay inn has only 13 guest rooms, which is designed based on Siheyuan countyard featuring gray bricks and red walls, and equipped with modern facilities. Some rooms feature sunrooms, private swimming pools, and viewing platforms.

There is also an eco-restaurant, an outdoor temperature controlled swimming pool, and a football court. Guests can enjoy negative ion therapy, hot spring bathing, tea picking and making, as well as various activities such as studying Red culture and camping under the stars. It is an ideal place to experience the local characteristic nature and culture.

In recent years, Guidong County has focused on building a “comprehensive wellness mountain city”, and promoting the cluster and scale development of the homestay industry.

At present, there are 1,025 homestay inns with 21,156 beds in the county, 64 county-level star-rated tourism homestay inns and 42 characteristic ones.

During the peak summer tourism season in 2024, the county received a total of 963,800 tourists, including 632,700 overnight visitors, a year-on-year increase of 17.74%. The average daily number of tourists received exceeded 30,000, and the  total tourism consumption reached about 1.06 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.78%.
