Gaoyi Ridge Youth Station successfully capped

On August 23, the machinery and equipment ran efficiently at the construction site of the Youth Station Project in Gaoyi Ridge Scenic Area. The construction personnel performed their respective duties with water and electricity installation, structural welding and guardrail installation. The progress of the project was stepped up in an orderly manner.

“In order to ensure the quality of the construction period, six cranes are operating at the same time to transport building materials vertically during the peak of the construction period. There are more than 180 construction workers. Under the safe situations, we are working overtime to ensure quality and quantity. The construction tasks are expected to be completed before the Tourism Development Conference,” said Tang Aming, manager of the Gaoyi Ridge Engineering Department.

At present, the main project of the Youth Station has been successfully capped. What will be carried out in the next step is the construction of the decoration project of exterior wall.

The Youth Station covers an area of about 81 mu (5.4 hectares). According to the terrain characteristics and land use conditions, it is planned to integrate the buildings and the landscape with the concept of green ecology. The entire station adopts the architectural layout form with the combination of courtyard-style architecture and corner-folding architecture.

According to the different architectural functions, the four-storey station is divided into two functional areas: the apartment hotel area and the tourist reception and service area.

In addition, many other projects are also under construction like the pontoon trestle project, the reconstruction project of the South Gate intersection, the head landscape project of the North Gate, the decoration project of the former headquarters and the former visitor center project.
