Tourists visit 711 Time Town

The photos taken on April 16 show tourists visiting 711 Time Town at Xujiadong Town in Suxian District of Chenzhou City.

As one of the earliest developed uranium mines in China, the state-owned 711 mine was closed in 2004, which has been approved as a “National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit” and a “National Industrial Heritage”.

In recent years, Chenzhou City has made full use of the old buildings left over in the mining area to build the 711 Time Town that integrates catering and accommodation, hot spring and wellness, science popularization and study tour, and leisure vacation.

711 Time Town has now become an important brand for Red tourism in Chenzhou.
