7 production lines were operating at full capacity in the production workshop of Hunan Shanjia Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. in Yizhang Economic Development Zone of Chenzhou City on December 17.

Tang Sunwen, deputy general manager of Shanjia Optoelectronic Technology, said that the company is a supplier of large-sized polarizing films to leading enterprises like HKC, TCL and BOE, and undertakes orders from Taiwan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other places. Its output value was 9 million yuan in 2023, which jumped to 350 million yuan in 2024, and is expected to reach 600 million yuan this year.

In recent years, the county government has seized the major strategic opportunity of transferring the optoelectronic display industry from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to inland areas.

Through precise investment attraction in the industrial chain, 59 optoelectronic display cluster enterprises have been introduced to settle in Yizhang Economic Development Zone, forming a complete industrial chain of “display materials, display devices, display components and display terminals”.

And it has been successfully recognized as a “characteristic industrial cluster of small and medium-sized enterprises in Hunan Province”.

This year, optoelectronic enterprises in the park have made efforts to promote production efficiency. Five enterprises including Renyu Technology and Yiye Electronics have been put into operation. Shanjia Optoelectronic has added two production lines. Hunan POLTECH Optoelectronic Technology Company has built two domestically-leading pilot production lines with an annual output value of 150 million yuan.

From January to December, it is expected that the output value of the photovoltaic display industry in the park will reach 8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.2%.

To break through the bottleneck of weak supply and demand in the electronic product market, the Yizhang optoelectronic display industry is not only deeply cultivating the domestic production and supply chain, but also going out to explore overseas markets, building an independent international marketing network, and actively integrating into the new development pattern of domestic and international industrial economy dual circulation.

Since its establishment in 2024, Renchuang Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. has actively secured overseas orders in the electronic industry. Currently, it has set up product sales outlets in 11 countries and regions including Sri Lanka, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Brazil, directly connecting with the international electronic terminal market.

At the same time, enterprises in the park insist on using technological innovation as the core driving force to break barriers and enhance brand value, promoting the industrial chain to climb to the high-end of the value chain.

Hunan POLTECH Optoelectronic Technology Company has established a platform involving industry, university, research and application with institutions such as Hunan University, Central South University, and Foshan Jihua Laboratory, undertaking the municipal level key projects, and forming a TFT professional R&D team.

In recent years, it has continuously invested 30 million yuan in R&D to promote the key technology research and industrialization of new high-end polarizer products.

“The rapid development of enterprises cannot be separated from the strong support of the park. Yizhang Economic Development Zone continues to optimize the business environment and effectively solve difficulties in the development of enterprises,” said Tang Sunwen, deputy general manager of Shanjia Optoelectronics.

When Shanjia Optoelectronics urgently needed factories to expand production, the park coordinated efforts to vacate some space for its new production lines in just two weeks.

When the company was faced with difficulties in recruiting workers, park staff proactively connected with human resources and social security departments and vocational schools, and even used personal social platforms to publish recruitment information.

This year, Yizhang Economic Development Zone has carried out a series of practical measures to help enterprises address urgent problems in the park, including special visits, government-enterprise breakfast and dinner meetings, acting as a go-between for better financial services, and shortening the application time for utility services like gas, electricity and gas, which in deed reassured them for production and development and stimulated their vitality.
