Li Yunlong is a post-00s entrepreneur in Guiyang county. This young man who just graduated from Chenzhou Vocational Technical College returned to his hometown and opened a custom clothing store.

This is currently one of the few clothing customization stores in the county town that focuses on the youth market, and it is also the starting point for him to break out of the professional framework and pursue the entrepreneurial ideal.

When it comes to cross-over entrepreneurship, Li Yunlong shyly said, “It has always been difficult for me to find clothes fit for me, and so I want to offer young people who have the same problem a ‘decent’ solution.”

With this idea, he went to the streets and alleys of the county town to conduct research and found that most of stores only sell ready-to-wear clothing, and customized stores either make traditional clothing for the middle-aged and elderly or the prices are too high. Young people who want a well-fitting interview suit or graduation gown have to go to Chenzhou.

Li Yunlong said, “In the early stages of entrepreneurship, I went to places such as Chenzhou, Zhangjiajie, and Wenzhou to conduct market research, and then learned that there is a large market space for clothing customization in Guiyang county. Therefore, I chose to be a franchisee of the internationally-known SOLOSALI and participated in the decoration and fabric selection of the store myself. Overall, I hope to bring everyone a better experience.”

To make up for the lack of professional knowledge in clothing, he enrolled in online customized clothing courses to learn skills such as pattern making, sewing, and operation every night. He also hired a master tailor and learned body measurement techniques with him.

Li Yunlong introduced, “We offer private customization for all categories, including suits, shirts, windbreakers, jackets, and more. With the support of a smart factory, we can achieve personalized customization, and delivery can be made in as fast as 10 to 15 days. If customers are not satisfied with the clothes they receive, we can remake them until they are satisfied.”

After initial promotion, the concept of “private customization” has attracted many people, and the store still in trial operation has received many orders from business elites, newlyweds, or companies.

Li Yunlong said, “Others say I started from scratch, but in fact, I'm still using my expertise from my previous profession--engineering cost. It teaches me the accuracy when measuring the body and the attention to repeated comparison of the texture when choosing fabrics. I want to sew these two things into every customized garment. Although they seem so distant and irrelevant , the core is actually the same. I want to make clothes that fits well for every customer with this meticulous attitude.”
