Since the beginning of this year, Chenzhou Economic Development Zone has made every effort to accelerate platform construction and attract leading projects. Its industrial development has continued to unleash new vitality.

It is expected that the added value of large-scale industries from January to July will increase by 9.5% year-on-year, investment in fixed assets will rise by 39%, full-caliber tax revenue by 20%, total investment attraction by 31% and the total import and export volume of foreign trade by 40% year-on-year.

The main structure of the Great Health Biomedical Industrial Park has been completed. The core project of the food and pharmaceutical industry chain, the South China Production and Manufacturing Center of China Resources Sanjiu (Chenzhou), is in the stage of equipment installation. Oriental Yuhong, a leading enterprise in the green building new material industry chain, is stepping up construction.

Over the years, Chenzhou Economic Development Zone has focused on three leading industries, developed four emerging industries, highlighted the advantages of “one industry, one characteristics”, and built four 10-billion-yuan industrial clusters in electronic information, new material, food and medicine, and manufacturing equipment.

Chenzhou Economic Development Zone has attached great importance to both cultivation and attraction of enterprises, with the implementation of the three-year action of characteristic industrial chains and cultivation plans such as Specialized and Sophisticated enterprises. It has focused on collaborative innovation in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain to promote the development of key industrial clusters.

In the first half of this year, the park’s enterprise development and industrial transformation achieved good results. Headway Technology successfully applied for a national small giant enterprise; 6 enterprises such as Upass were added to the list of provincial-level “little giant” enterprises; 10 enterprises such as Xinneng Industry were included in the reserve pool of listed enterprises; enterprises such as Chibang New Materials and Aihekang Food were successfully selected into the 2022 provincial green park creation plan; Canafull Technology, FHD New Materials and other 4 enterprises were selected into the provincial green factory creation plan.

Since the beginning of this year, Chenzhou Economic Development Zone has worked to seek for more funds from superior departments and improved the echelon system of science and technology enterprises in the park.

It launched the “Ten Key Technical Research Projects” such as the R&D and industrialization projects of the SDM powerful cross-film of Upass New Materials, and guided enterprises to break through the core technology problems.

It deepened collaboration between colleges and the local government, as well as enterprises, built a technology docking network platform, implemented the four-year action plan for the pilot transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and explored the collaborative innovation model, forming a closed loop of strategic cooperation between industry, education and research, joint training of talents, and transformation of scientific research achievements, and creating a complete industrial ecology.

Four enterprises including Hunan Xianggong Environmental Protection Technology Development Co., Ltd., successfully applied for municipal technology research and development centers.

Upass, FHD and Attoes Company were selected as the provincial major product innovation strong base projects.

10 pilot projects such as Attoes optical airborne 3D lidar were selected into the municipal pilot project database, and the park’s public pilot test and scientific and technological achievements transformation base were basically completed.

Four products from Taiyi Surface Coating Company were selected into the provincial energy-saving and water-saving promotion catalog.

Chenzhou Economic Development Zone is stepping up construction and working hard to cultivate enterprises, promote regional transformation and upgrading, create new advantages in pillar industries, and gather new momentum for emerging industries.
