Spicy Chicken Hotpot
Chenzhou Spicy Chicken Hotpot, which is spicy and tasty, was recorded in folk history that in the ten years of Chongzhen reign of the Ming Dynasty, when Xu Xiake traveled to Yongxing, he suffered from cold hygrosis.
He tried all the herbs but without any improvement. The locals used ginger, dried chili and other materials to make “spicy chicken hotpot”.
After tasting it, he soon recovered from sweating. Since then, “spicy chicken hotpot” has been passed down from generation to generation as a special dish.
