The residence was built in the late Qing Dynasty. On October 5, Deng Zhongxia, one of the important founders of the CPC and an outstanding proletarian revolutionist, politician, theorist, and an outstanding leader of the Chinese Workers’ Movement and the Students’ Movement, was born here and spent his youth here.

The main building is a two-story wood structure with four rooms and three living halls, covering a building area of 132.9 square meters.

In 1944, the Nationalist Central Army set it on fire, and the house burned down in the fire, with only the wall foundation remaining.

It’s located in Dengjiawan Village, Wuling Town of Yizhang County.
