Common crapemyrtle flowers are now blooming again at several main roads such Chenjiang Road, Xiangxue Road and Chenzhou Avenue in Chenzhou City. The dazzling flower sea is like rosy clouds, attracting many citizens to admire and take photos.

The flowers bloom twice a year just owing to the variety grafting and meticulous maintenance of the urban road greening team of Chenzhou Garden and Greening Service Center. This adds more scenic beauty to the city.
Traditionally, the flowering period of crape myrtle is from June to July each year, often with such problems as low flowering quantity and monotonous colors.
To overcome this bottleneck, the greening team has introduced high ornamental varieties, and carried out large-scale grafting and transformation of ordinary crape myrtle.
The transformed crape myrtle is not only bright-colored, but also has more flowers.

Since the beginning of this year, the city has actively practiced urban fine management, and comprehensively promoted the action of improving the quality of urban landscaping, with 32 main and secondary roads and park nodes upgraded, as well as many popular spots for citizens to visit such as Shiliuwan azalea garden, Panjiawan Sunflower Flower Sea, Beihu Park Redwood Tourist Road, continuously creating a beautiful and comfortable urban living environment for citizens.
