Wu Jupei, secretary of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee, visited Jiahe County to inspect the industrial development, flood prevention preparedness, workplace safety and social stability on April 9.

At Bingxue Community of Zhuquan Town, Wu Jupei learned about flood prevention, disaster mitigation and emergency preparedness. He emphasized the need to conduct thorough risk and hazard identification and rectification to firmly safeguard the safety bottom line.

In Jiahe High-tech Zone, Wu Jupei inspected private enterprises, modern equipment manufacturing and foreign trade firms.

He hoped to further strengthen industrial chain thinking, implement targeted investment promotion, provide all-round support for enterprises, and continuously upgrade industrial development.

During on-site petition reception, Wu Jupei listened carefully to public grievances and facilitated the resolution of issues raised by residents.

Wu Jupei emphasized that we should focus on the development of competitive industries such as forging and equipment manufacturing, accelerate the green, intelligent and high-end transformation to upgrade Jiahe's reputation as “a hometown of precision casting”.

We should further promote urban-rural integration to jointly create beautiful urban and rural landscapes. We should better balance development and security, and uphold security as the fundamental foundation.
