The Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park uses the cold water from Dongjiang Lake as the cooling source for server operation 24/7, with PUE value remaining consistently below 1.2 throughout the year. It aims to build a national new data valley.

After learning in detail about the development of the big data industry by leveraging cold water resources, Wu pointed out that it is imperative to seize the opportunities of the digital economy, give full play to comparative advantages, and consolidate the foundation of data factors.

We must strengthen data security risk prevention and create a green, energy-efficient, safe and reliable, and distinctive data disaster recovery center in Hunan Province. We should enhance factor support, effectively reduce electricity costs, and translate the dual advantages of low electricity prices and low energy consumption into the core competitiveness to attract enterprises to settle in.

During his inspection of the Xiaodongjiang Drinking Water Source Protection Area and the Dongjiang Dam, Wu Jupei carried out a river patrol tour, listened to reports on the sustainable utilization of water resources and green development, flood prevention and preparedness, as well as the construction of disaster prevention, mitigation and relief systems.

He emphasized that the river and lake chief system should be fully implemented to drive continuous improvement in water environment quality. We must enhance awareness of preventing major floods, responding to major risks, and dealing with major disasters, adhere to a systematic approach, and comprehensively improve flood disaster defense capabilities to ensure safety during flood season.
