Kan Baoyong briefed the guests on the economic and social situation of Chenzhou as well as the progress of its resource recycling industry. He noted that Chenzhou boasts unique resource endowments, convenient transportation, well-integrated open platforms, an excellent business environment and a solid industrial foundation. Particularly, the recycling of rare and precious metals resources and the entire lithium battery industry chain have witnessed prominent cluster development.

He expressed the hope that both parties would give full play to their respective advantages, deepen practical cooperation, accelerate project implementation, and jointly build a regional demonstration base for resource recycling and utilization.

Zhu Jianchun introduced the group’s profile and development strategies as the first central state-owned enterprise dedicated to resource recycling.

He said that the development foundation and direction of Chenzhou are highly compatible with the group’s development layout. The group will further leverage its strengths in platform, technology and resources, deepen cooperation between the central and local governments, promote project implementation, set a fine example of win-win cooperation, and contribute to the nation's green and low-carbon development.
