From October 22 to 24, He Jihua, vice chairman of Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Committee, led a team to conduct in-depth research in Chenzhou on the topic of “consolidating and expanding achievements of poverty alleviation, enhancing the endogenous development momentum of areas and households that have been lifted out of poverty”, and carried out democratic supervision on promoting the comprehensive utilization of straws in Hunan Province with high quality.  

In Jiahe County, He Jihua and his delegation visited such places as Hunan Huasheng Agricultural Development Company and Shuheng Fungi Company to learn about the development of modern agriculture and the situation of joint agriculture and rural development.

He inspected the development of the knitting industry in Chenzhou Fengyue Clothing Company.

In Xiaojietian Village, Yuanjia Town, he learned about the situation of rural revitalization driven by Red culture and tourism.

He Jihua said that it is necessary to consolidate the foundation for standardization, branding and export quality of the vegetable industry, and make the regional public brand “Xiangjiangyuan” a symbol of high quality.

We need to improve a special mechanism linking agriculture and farmers, deeply integrate farmers into the industrial chain to achieve income growth and prosperity.

The delegation went to the relocation site for poverty alleviation in Xinben Village, Huangsha Town, Yizhang County to understand the construction of public service facilities.

In the Zhanxiang Agricultural Xinben Water Source Yuanshan Base, Yuanfa Building Materials Factory and Kaicheng Electronics Factory, he inspected the development of characteristic agriculture and employment assistance.

At Jieshun Biomass Energy Co., Ltd. and Shunyi Livestock Farm, the delegation gained a detailed understanding of the comprehensive utilization of straw as fuel and feed in the local area.

He Jihua said that we should fully mobilize and rely on the people to carry out effective publicity and guidance work on the comprehensive utilization of straw, and improve the mechanism of straw collection and storage. We also need to use technological means to broaden the channels for comprehensive utilization of straw.

The delegation visited the Dongjianghu Aquatic Development Service Center, Liangmei Xunlong Technology Development Co., Ltd., and Shanshui Natural Food Co., Ltd. in Zixing City to learn about Dongjiang Lake's fishery resources, special ecological cold water fish farming, and innovative research and development in fresh fish deep processing.

He Jihua said that we must always guard the red line of ecological protection, firmly follow the path of promoting fishing through science and technology, and explore new paths for the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas.
