The third-quarter observation meeting and the promotion conference for the industrial chain construction in 2025 was held in Linwu County of Chenzhou City on October 23.

Wu Jupei, secretary of the Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Kan Baoyong, mayor of Chenzhou City, commented on the economic operation and work of various industrial chains in the third quarter.

In recent years, Chenzhou has continued to promote the “Six New Actions”, focused on accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system with Chenzhou characteristics, and continuously achieved new results.

At the same time, there are also some problems and shortcomings in the work. All departments in the city should effectively enhance their sense of responsibility and urgency in promoting the development of key industrial chains and building a modern industrial system, and advancing the construction of 11 key industrial chains, so as to accelerate the high-quality development of Chenzhou city.

We should persist in taking the path of differentiated development, and promote the integration of modern industrial system construction and regional coordinated development.

We must closely focus on attracting investment in the industrial chain, make efforts to enhance new driving forces, innovate the system and mechanism of attracting investment, and accurately introduce a batch of projects to strengthen, supplement and extend chains.

We will build an industrial chain ecology, create new advantages for agglomeration development, accelerate the formation of a complete supporting industrial ecology, and amplify the scale effect of industrial agglomeration.

We should focus on industrial chain services, optimize the business environment, strengthen the leadership of the industrial chains, and use new achievements in industrial development to promote the high-quality development of Chenzhou.

The meeting demanded that efforts should be intensified on key areas, and greater efforts should be made to complete all the annual tasks. We must unswervingly shoulder the responsibility of being the main contributor to the economic powerhouse. It’s important to enhance strategic patience, work hard for further industrial planning, strengthen industrial chains, optimize industrial ecology, and persistently promote industries to move towards high added value and end products.

We must strengthen the scheduling and scientifically formulate plans, making every effort to promote high-quality development, and striving to achieve a successful conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan and a solid start to the 15th Five-Year Plan.
