In Fuquan Community, Xiameiqiao Subdistrict of Beihu District, Chenzhou City, community cadres, police officers, urban management officers and legal advisors set up “mobile office tables” every Tuesday and Friday evenings to handle social security, subsidy applications, conflict mediation and other services for residents returning home from work.
In response to the problem of difficulties faced by working couples and migrant workers, the community party committee has moved the service window to the doorstep of residents, effectively solving the problem of a mismatch between service time and public demand.
Tongyong Residential Community of Fuquan Community is a residential area for a restructured enterprise that has faced problems such as management deficiencies. The community, with a three-level system involving grid Party branch, building Party group and Party member household, has formed a governance team of 37 Party members.
And relying on “mobile office tables”, it promotes Party members to provide services.
Zhu Guangjun, a Party member, utilized his expertise as a fitter and offered to repair water and electricity for his neighbors.
Chen Liangru, the secretary of the Community Party Committee, said that the “mobile office table” can cover flexible services and wide ranges, which improves service effectiveness, as it not only takes into account the time of office workers, but also the needs of the elderly group.
According to statistics, through this model, more than 500 public affairs have been handled and 136 various problems have been solved, with a satisfaction rate of 98% among residents. The “mobile office table” fully utilizes the role of grassroots Party organizations, and effectively enhances residents’ sense of gain and happiness.
