On February 24, the first working day after the Spring Festival holiday, the construction site of Chenzhou Land Port was already bustling with activity.

As a key project in Hunan Province, the three core sub projects of Chenzhou Land Port with a total investment of over 3.5 billion yuan have resumed work. All construction entities are working at full speed to meet the deadline, and striving to achieve a “good start” in the first quarter, supporting the construction of the national logistics hub in southern Hunan and the high-level opening up of the province to the outside world.

The three major sub projects--Chenzhou National Logistics Hub Road Railway Intermodal Transport Center, Chenzhou Logistics Hub Bulk Commodity Distribution and Trading Center, and Chenzhou Land Port Railway Dedicated Line are advancing at full speed.

Among them, the Road Rail Intermodal Transport Center project covers the entire chain of logistics supporting facilities such as railway container yard, bonded warehouse, and automatic sorting and distribution center.

Once completed, it will provide one-stop services such as warehousing and transit, bonded logistics and information scheduling for railway ports and highway ports.

The Chenzhou Logistics Hub Bulk Commodity Distribution and Trading Center project, with a total investment of 1.178 billion yuan, focuses on the layout of the entire non-ferrous metal industry chain.

After resumption of work, the project will accelerate the construction of distribution centers and auxiliary buildings, creating a comprehensive industrial platform that integrates testing and pricing, transaction settlement, and bonded supervision. Once completed, it will significantly improve the distribution efficiency of the non-ferrous metal industry in Chenzhou, and promote the development of the industry towards high-end, large-scale, and international directions.

As the “main artery” of logistics in Chenzhou Port, the railway dedicated line project has achieved seamless connection between the railway and the port.

After the project is put into use, it will significantly improve the efficiency of goods transshipment and effectively reduce the logistics transportation costs for enterprises, thus opening up an efficient logistics channel for Chenzhou's opening up.

After the project is completed, the annual freight throughput of Chenzhou Land Port will increase by 3.44 million tons. This will not only help reduce costs and increase efficiency for all the city's import and export enterprises, but also fully promote the high-quality development of Chenzhou's industries through the integration of logistics and trade.

After the project is fully operational, Chenzhou Land Port will achieve efficient intermodal transportation by road and rail, and centralized trading of bulk commodities. It will strive to build a logistics distribution center in the border area of Hunan, Jiangxi and Guangdong provinces and an advanced front line for opening up to the outside world.
