Four new freight lines are operating efficiently at the logistics workshop of Chenzhou Chenshen Express Co., Ltd. in Aoshang Town, Suxian District of Chenzhou City. The monitoring and scanning system can accurately deliver packages to designated compartments.

Since the intelligent new equipment worth over 5.6 million yuan was put into use, the production efficiency and sorting accuracy of the enterprise have been greatly improved.

Private economy is crucial to the sustained and healthy development of the economy in Suxian District. Since the beginning of this year, Suxian District has promoted industrial iteration and upgrading with greater efforts, focused on precise technological transformation of key industry enterprises, comprehensively promoted large-scale equipment updates in the industrial field, injecting strong development momentum into private enterprises.

The benefits brought by equipment updates are obvious. In the past, completing sorting tasks required more than 60 people to work overtime for 12 hours, but now it only takes more than 40 people to work for 8 hours to complete the task. The number of manual sorting has jumped from only 7,000 pieces per hour to 19,000 to 20,000 pieces per hour.

At the same time, the enterprise saves about 30,000 yuan in logistics costs such as labor and accommodation every month, effectively achieving cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

Since the launch of large-scale equipment updates, Suxian District has made efforts to promote technological transformation and upgrading of enterprises. The Development and Reform Bureau of Suxian District and other relevant departments conducted policy lectures and Q&A activities in the park and enterprises, actively helping enterprises to seek national policy support to accelerate equipment upgrading.

By introducing advanced equipment and technology, it can effectively promote the development of enterprises towards a high-end, intelligent, and green path, improve production efficiency, and enhance market competitiveness.

Up to now, the district has sorted out and summarized 81 equipment renewal projects, covering multiple key areas such as industry, transportation, municipal infrastructure, education, and healthcare.

From January to June this year, Suxian District has cumulatively secured 214 million yuan in funds for large-scale equipment renewal.
