On April 6, workers stepped up construction at the mining and beneficiation site of the Jijiaoshan lithium mine project run by Hunan Dazhonghe Lithium Mine Co., Ltd. in Linwu County, Chenzhou City.
With a total investment of 23 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 2.03 billion yuan, the project will build a mining and beneficiation system with an annual capacity of 20 million tons, and produce 80,000 tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate, energy storage batteries, and 3,000 tons of lithium anode materials and other battery new materials annually.
Currently, the first phase of the project with an annual output of 40,000 tons of lithium carbonate is under construction, and it is expected to be completed and put into production in October this year.
