China’s largest lithium mining project goes full steam ahead
The construction of the Dazhonghe lithium mining and beneficiation project in Linwu County was in full swing on March 28. With a total investment of over 4 billion yuan, the project boasts an annual mining capacity of 20 million tons, making it the largest lithium mine project in terms of approved and registered resource reserves by the Ministry of Natural Resources of China.

To date, 80% of the civil engineering work has been completed for the Phase I facilities, including a 10-million-ton annual polymetallic ore processing plant and a 12-million-ton annual sand and gravel production line. Equipment installation is currently underway. It is expected to be completed and put into operation in October 2026.
