The Xintianling tungsten mine distributed photovoltaic project in Beihu District, Chenzhou, the first demonstration project for integrated development of photovoltaic power and green mines in Hunan province, successfully passed the completion acceptance, achieving deep integration of the photovoltaic power generation system with the ecological restoration, production and operation of the mine.
The project is located in Xintianling, Beihu District, Chenzhou City. It fully utilizes the idle space in the mining area to construct a distributed photovoltaic power generation project, including 11 closed tailings ponds, abandoned factories, abandoned soil disposal sites, and 1 rooftop area, with a total area of about 540 mu (36 hectares) and an installed capacity of 43.3344 megawatts on the DC side.
After the project is put into operation, it is expected to generate more than 40 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually, saving 11,400 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 34,300 tons.
It will play an important role in optimizing the regional energy structure and alleviating the power supply pressure of the Chenzhou power grid.
