The groundbreaking ceremony for the 220kV power transmission and transformation project of the lithium carbonate plant of Hunan Dazhonghe Lithium Mine Company was held on September 28.
The lithium carbonate plant will have an annual production capacity of 40,000 tons, with an estimated annual output value of about 3.198 billion yuan, which can provide over 600 job opportunities for local residents in Linwu County.
As the “power heart” supporting the lithium carbonate plant, the 220kV power transmission and transformation project has a total investment of over 500 million yuan, including a 220kV outdoor GIS station with a total line length of about 17.2 kilometers.
It is expected to be completed before June next year. It is the largest and highest investment substation among enterprises in Chenzhou City. It is also a key step for the lithium battery industry in Linwu County to move towards green and intelligent development.
