The groundbreaking ceremony for the Puluo Wind Power project was held in the square in front of the Dongluo Township Market on July 30, marking that this key energy construction project entered the substantive construction stage.
The project is one of the key wind power projects during the 14th Five-Year Plan of Hunan Province. The construction area involves multiple towns such as Pule, Dongluo and Shatian. The total installed capacity is 100 megawatts, with a total investment of approximately 650 million yuan.
The construction period will last 12 months. Once put into operation, the project is expected to transmit 198 million kilowatt-hours to the power grid annually, with an annual output value of about 80 million yuan.
