There was a hive of activity at the Yindu Comprehensive Logistics Park of Yongxing County, Chenzhou City. Sorting lines were running at high speed, and workers in uniforms were busy with scanning, sorting, and checking. Transport vehicles loaded with goods frequently went in and out of the park.
“Previously, this was an abandoned unfinished project. Six commercial buildings only had bare main structures, and weeds grew taller than people,” recalled Gao Zunqiang, the project leader and general manager of Chenzhou Zhongzheng Logistics Service Co., Ltd..

“Thanks to the strong support of the local government, about 110 million yuan has been invested in this project. We have completed the construction of the first phase covering 80 mu (5.33 hectares) of land, including all six commercial buildings. Two warehouses have been put into use. Currently, express delivery companies such as ZTO, YTO, STO, and Yunda have settled in the park, and the express logistics industry in the county has been basically integrated into the overall operation of the park.”
Yindu Comprehensive Logistics Park was formerly the Yindu Commercial City project. Suspended and abandoned in 2015 after the original developer went bankrupt due to poor management, the land had long been left idle and become a "bottleneck" constraining local development.
"Both the municipal and county governments have attached great importance to revitalizing this idle land," said Liang Bin, director of the Office of the Special Work Team for Yindu Comprehensive Logistics Park.

To tackle the problem, in 2024, a special team was organized for investment promotion and construction to provide all-round services. In line with the county's development plan, the unfinished project has been upgraded into the only comprehensive logistics park in Yongxing, breathing new life into the idle land.
To ensure the logistics park can deliver real effects, Yongxing County has improved its supporting facilities in tandem. The G240 national highway along the route was widened to ease congestion for large logistics vehicles. The water and electricity supply was improved with installation of underground pipelines. Smart parking lots, charging stations, and inflation stations were built.
These efforts have addressed problems such as scattered logistics outlets and disturbance caused by large vehicles, laying a solid foundation for the efficient operation of the park.

“Now we can handle 100,000 to 110,000 parcels a day, directly creating 300 jobs,” said Tang Dongyan, the head of an express delivery company in Yongxing County. “The park is scientifically planned and well-equipped, perfectly meeting the development needs of express companies. It has significantly improved transfer efficiency and provided strong support for local logistics supply during peak consumption periods.”
