The tungsten industry chain project in Rucheng County was officially launched in Rucheng Economic Development Zone on February 26.
This project is the first provincial-level key project to commence construction in Rucheng county during the Spring Festival. With a total investment of 1 billion yuan, the project is oriented towards the development directions of “high-end, intelligent, green and integrated”.
The main construction contents include the annual production of 10,000 tons of APT (ammonium tungstate), 3,000 tons of tungsten powder and alloy deep processing, and related supporting projects.
It will drive the local tungsten resources to shift from “output of raw ore” to the full value chain involving deep processing, technology research and development and brand output.
After the project is completed and put into production, it is expected to have an annual output value of over 5 billion yuan.
In recent years, Rucheng County has regarded the tungsten industry as the core pillar and strategic engine of the county's modern industrial system, and promoted the transformation and upgrading of the tungsten industry towards deep processing and new material development.
After the project is fully completed, it is expected to become a benchmark project in the tungsten industry chain and a new engine for enriching the people and strengthening the county, injecting strong impetus into the high-quality economic and social development of Rucheng county.
