Rows of special purpose vehicles (SPVs) stood ready outside the new plant of Hunan Chengxin Special Purpose Vehicle Company in Jiahe High-tech Zone on March 13. The convoy then slowly drove out of the gate, heading for Southeast Asia and Africa.

This marks a triple celebration for the company—its 20th anniversary, the official operation of the new plant, and the shipment of export orders, which also vividly demonstrates the global reach of "Made in Chenzhou".

“20 years ago, we only aimed to be a compliant automobile manufacturer. Today, our products are exported to nearly 20 countries in Africa, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Central Asia and other regions.” Li Mincheng, chairman of the company.

As a local Jiahe enterprise to address transportation needs for coal mines and castings, Chengxin has deeply cultivated the segment of special vehicles, gradually growing into a core supplier of Sany Group, and a high-tech enterprise integrating research and development, production, sales, and services of special vehicles.

Inside the brand-new workshop, intelligent laser cutters and automatic welding robots operated with precision.

Li Yongfa, general manager of the company, introduced that the orders bound for Africa and Southeast Asia this time mark an important breakthrough in the company's internationalization strategy. Since the Spring Festival holiday this year, the company has exported a total of 100 vehicles with an export value exceeding 20 million yuan.

He added that after the second phase of the factory was put into operation, the company's production capacity, quality, and delivery capabilities have been comprehensively improved, which can better meet the growing demand from overseas markets.
