Recently, good news came from the production workshop of Hunan Chenwei Intelligent Technology Company in Beihu Optoelectronic Industrial Park that the company has achieved independent production for its core molds, filling a key gap in the industrial chain of the optoelectronic industrial park.

“In the past, molds were all customized from other places, with the lead time of up to 60 days or even several months. Now, they can be delivered within 35 days in the park, which has increased R&D efficiency by more than 70% and reduced costs by 30%,” said Yuan Kai, general manager of the company.

As more enterprises signed neighborhood supply agreements with Chenwei Intelligent, a localized collaborative network has been established in Beihu District. Battery raw materials can be directly supplied from enterprises in the park, and precision structural components are also available in the park.

From mold development to raw material supply, accessory production, and complete machine assembly, all links can be reached within walking distance, empowering the rapid development of the enterprises in the park.

“The industrial chain integration brings us the cost-effectiveness and synergistic effects,” said Yuan Kai.

From January to August this year, the sales volume of the company’s intelligent Bluetooth speakers, smart remote controllers and other products exceeded 5 million units, with a production value of 70 million yuan. The production for orders is scheduled till January next year, and the annual production value is expected to exceed 100 million yuan.

“The gradually improving industrial chain in the park is helping enterprises meet expected standards in every aspect from product design to production delivery, while minimizing production costs and time delays to the greatest extent.” said Li Jinghua, general manager of Danuo Technology.

In recent years, Beihu District has built a V-shaped enterprise development pattern and made industrial chains stronger through the development of detailed industrial training actions, industrial ecology and chain integration improvement action plans, and by strengthening open logistics, talent employment and investment promotion platform construction.

Since the beginning of this year, Beihu District has introduced 24 major projects worth over 200 million yuan each, with a total signed amount of 9.41 billion yuan.

A complete optoelectronic display industry chain has initially taken shape, covering glass substrates, LCD panels, and terminal display modules.

According to statistics, from January to July, the total output value of the modern industrial system in Beihu District exceeded 50.15 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.6%. The growth rate of investment in industrial technological transformation reached 41.6%, and 2 new industrial enterprises above designated size were added. The added value of large-scale industries increased by 12.6% year-on-year, ranking first in Chenzhou City.
