A total of 37 items including three from Hunan province were included in the first batch of sci-tech achievements to be promoted for “replacing plastic with bamboo” on August 10.
This marks multiple breakthroughs in the key technology research and development of “replacing plastic with bamboo” in Hunan province, providing new impetus for green and low-carbon development and the industrial application of bio based materials.
The first batch of sci-tech achievements cover four application scenarios of daily necessities, industrial production, building materials, and agricultural and forestry production.
Those achievements selected from Hunan province are concentrated in the fields of industrial production and building materials.
Hunan Xiecheng Pipe Industry Technology Co., Ltd., located in Suxian District, Chenzhou City, has jointly developed the “bamboo fiber composite material pipe” with Changsha University of Science & Technology.
It is a type of bamboo fiber composite corrugated pipe with good environmental performance, high strength, and corrosion resistance. It can be widely used in the construction of transportation bridges, tunnels, water supply, agricultural irrigation, industrial and chemical industries, petroleum pipelines, communication lines, etc.
