In recent years, Yongxing County has provided services such as business diagnosis and diversified activities for enterprises through the Yongxing SMEs Public Service Platform, to build an information exchange bridge between enterprises, government, market, and peers, and overcome difficulties in industrial scientific and technological innovation and achievement transformation.

The platform was launched in 2016 under the operation of Yongxing Yindu SMEs Service Co., Ltd. It’s the first platform in Hunan led by the government and operated by a private enterprise. It is a comprehensive service platform that integrates digital transformation, technological innovation, brand enhancement, inspection and testing, financing promotion, entrepreneurship and innovation, enterprise management, information technology consulting, project application, intellectual property protection, government services, procedure agency, scientific and technological achievement transformation, market development and other functions. It provides “one-stop” services for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The platform is committed to promoting the construction of the science and technology innovation base, with an investment of 23 million yuan. It covers five functional areas, including the enterprise service center, industry exhibition center, science and technology incubation center, scientific research and testing center, and high-tech cultivation center, in a bid to promote the green development and technological innovation of the precious metal industry. The science and technology incubation center has been included among the five major pilot bases of Chenzhou National Sustainable Development Agenda Innovation Demonstration Zone and rated as the provincial expert workstation as well as Hunan Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Pilot Base.

To meet market demand, the platform has increased efforts to implement pilot projects. Currently, eight pilot projects are underway, including sulfur resource utilization of high-sulfur rare and precious metals, preparation of spherical nickel hydroxide from waste recycling, and green and efficient recovery of varistors from electronic waste. Two of them are expected to achieve industrial production.

Meanwhile, the platform has also promoted the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Four projects, including the low-temperature waste heat power generation technology of universal screw expanders, the application of nano composite liquid alkali, the treatment of high salt wastewater, the application of bio metallurgy, and the resin-oatmeal copper extraction technology, have been implemented, injecting new impetus into the healthy development of the rare and precious metal industry in Yongxing County.

The platform has also showed outstanding performance in leading enterprise technological innovation and driving high-quality industrial development. The platform organized Sinoi-Platinum Metals Co.,Ltd. and Yindu Rare and Precious Metals Research Institute to cooperate with Central South University to jointly implement the "Research and Industrialization of High Conductivity Low Temperature Conductive Silver Paste New Products" project, with a project amount of up to 10 million yuan. It guided companies such as Jinye Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. and Jenson Dispaly to apply for sustainable development projects in 2024, with a total of 12 projects recommended.

There are 34 provincial-level innovation platforms in Yongxing County. Hunan Nanbo New Materials Co., Ltd. has been rated as a provincial-level new research and development institution. Hunan Tengchi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. and Hunan Gold Run Tellurium Industry Co., Ltd. have been listed among provincial-level enterprise technology centers. Jinye Environmental Protection Technology Company, Tengchi Environmental Protection Technology Company, Chenzhou Xiongfeng Environment Science and Technology Company and Yongxing Yindu Rare and Precious Metals Research Institute have been included among provincial-level expert workstations. Jenson Dispaly and Dongyang Chemical Industry have been shortlisted for the Hunan Doctoral Innovation Station.

In addition, the platform has successfully reached out to 35 green, low-carbon and intelligent technologies, 12 of which are favored by enterprises. The introduction and application of these technologies will further promote the green development and upgrading of small and medium-sized enterprises in Yongxing County.
