The 12th National Food Safety Supervision Information Exchange Conference was held in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region recently.

At the meeting, excellent cases of “Optimizing the Business Environment to Empower the High-quality Development of Food Industry” in 2025 were announced. The Chenzhou City Food Safety Off-site Supervision Project stood out from nearly a thousand cases nationwide and was rated as one of the top ten cases.

In an exclusive interview after the meeting, an official of the Market Supervision Administration of Chenzhou City introduced that Chenzhou City has actively explored a new model of “AI empowered smart supervision”, promoted the construction of a food safety off-site supervision platform, and established a full process closed-loop mechanism involving “early warning push, entity rectification, and regulatory review”.

AI intelligent warning has replaced 60% of manual inspection workload, increasing the number of supervisory entities per day from 3 to 15 per person. The review time for supervision has been reduced from 5 days to within 24 hours, and the coordination efficiency of three-level supervision at the city, county, and office levels has been tripled. As a result, the responsibilities of business entities have been strengthened continuously, and food safety satisfaction and public sense of gain have continued to increase.

The National Food Safety Supervision Information Exchange Conference has been successfully held for eleven consecutive sessions, achieving practical results in promoting advanced experience in food safety supervision.

The honor will contribute Chenzhou's experience and strength to promoting high-quality supervision of food safety in China and supporting the high-quality development of the food industry.
