Guiyang County

Guiyang County is located in southeast Hunan Province, 35 kilometers away from the west of Beijing-Guangzhou Railway.

Guiyang County covers an area of 2,958 square kilometers, of which the land under cultivation occupies 39,300 hectares and the forest 79, 353.9 hectares. It has jurisdiction 22 towns (townships), and 398 administrative villages. Guiyang County has a population of 901,000.

In 2023, the total output value of Guiyang County realized an increase of 9.2% to hit 10.714 billion yuan, exceeding 10 billion yuan for the first time. The first industry witnessed an added output value of 2.3 billion yuan, the second industry 4.717 billion yuan and the tertiary industry 3.697 billion yuan, an increase of 9.6%, 5.9% and 12.6% respectively.
