
Xiao Yang, male, Han nationality, is from Hanshou, Hunan province. Born in December 1975, he got a postgraduate degree and a doctorate in engineering. He started his work in July 2000 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in January 1998.
He is now a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee, deputy secretary of the Leading Party Members Group and executive vice mayor of Chenzhou City.
He is responsible for the daily work of the municipal government. He is also responsible for development and reform, safety production, emergency management, statistics, government offices management, data and government services, taxation, national defense mobilization, assistance in Xinjiang, handling of representatives' suggestions and proposals of the CPPCC, as well as assisting the mayor in financial work.
He is responsible for the work in building innovative demonstration zones for national sustainable development and for safety production work.
