In January 2019, Sizhou Mountain Hammada Park in Guiyang County was successfully approved by the State Forestry and Grassland Administration for construction, which is the second national hammada park in Chenzhou after Yizhang Chishi National Hammada Park.

The Sizhou Mountain Hammada Park covers an area of more than 1800 hectares, which is constructed in four parts: eco-conservation area, education exhibition area, experience area and management service area. Among them, the eco-conservation area covers 1180.90 hectares, accounting for 62.60 percent of the total area of park; the education exhibition area covers 181.50 hectares, accounting for 9.62 percent; the experience area includes three unique scenic spots, covering 463.49 hectares, accounting for 24.57 percent; the management service area covers 60.46 hectares, accounting for 3.21 percent. The landform belongs to the large-scale stone bud landform of karst bare rock hill, which includes stone bud, stone forest, stone wall, Tiankeng, karst cave and peak cluster.

In the future, according to the principles of "protection priority, scientific planning, rational utilization and sustainable development", the park will explore new ways of ecological protection, restoration and rational utilization in Karst areas, promote forestry ecological construction in Guiyang County, and strive to build "green Guiyang" and "ecological Guiyang", so as to realize the goal of "ecological county".
