The renovated Mangshan Natural Museum welcomed a tourist peak recently.

The Mangshan Natural Museum with white walls and blue roofs, surrounded by mountains, perfectly blends with the beautiful landscape. Visitors come in an endless stream.

In the Forest Secret Realm Exhibition Hall of Mangshan Natural Museum, a group of tourists were participating in an interactive Q&A session on Mangshan. Tourists can also use the intelligent navigation system to switch to the interface that they are interested in by simply clicking on the touch screen.

This allows tourists to enjoy the beauty of nature while also experiencing the charm of technology, enhancing the efficiency and fun of the tour.

In the Qinglong Secret Realm Exhibition Hall, the “Mangshan Protobothrops mangshanensis (a kind of snake native to Mangshan Mountain) Conservation Exhibition Area” adopts a semi transparent ecological tank design. This not only meets the needs of scientific research and monitoring, but also allows visitors to intuitively understand the living habits of this unique species.

There is the sleeping serpent, the forest musk deer, white pheasant, and a rich variety of plant species. Visitors wander through different exhibition halls of the Mangshan Natural Museum to immerse themselves in the mysteries of nature.

In June of this year, the Mangshan Natural Museum, with “The Last Primitive Oasis at 25 degrees North Latitude” as its theme and using information technology devices such as sound, light, and electricity for exhibition, implemented construction projects such as the renovation of the outer hall, the Qinglong secret realm, the ecological secret realm, and the forest secret realm through graphic and textual explanations, physical specimens, scene restoration, interactive experiences, and other methods.  

After the renovation, Mangshan Natural Museum boasts more complete and advanced facilities, which can bring better tourist experience, for it turns the beautiful ecological scenery of Mangshan into popular science scenes for tourists.

At present, the average daily number of visitors in the museum exceeds 1,000, which has doubled compared to that before the renovation. It has become a popular spot for popular science education in the scenic area.
