Recently, Yongxing County of Chenzhou City has been selected as one of the first batch of 50 national demonstration cities (counties and districts) for law abiding and legal popularization.
In recent years, Yongxing County has been deeply involved in the construction of the rule of law, and has achieved good results in law education through mechanism innovation and vivid practices.
In terms of top-level design, it has taken the “Eighth Five-Year Plan” for legal education as a priority, cultivated role models, strictly implemented the responsibility system, and established a normalized linkage and funding guarantee mechanism.
In terms of law popularization, it has continued efforts on law popularization with an innovative AI-based model to create AI videos for law popularization.
Over 30 popular legal and cultural products have been launched for effective law popularization.
In addition, Yongxing County has trained 1,680 rural “legal experts”, and each village (community) in the county is equipped with at least 6 such experts, enabling local residents to learn the law at their doorstep at any time.
As of 2025, 280 villages (communities) in Yongxing County have been awarded 2 national, 11 provincial, and 11 municipal democratic and legal demonstration villages (communities).
The legal awareness and literacy of cadres and the people has continued to improve, with enhanced abilities in making decisions, management, and handleing affairs in accordance with the law.
