2025-08-15

Chezhou City was included in the second batch of national pilot cities for the development of credit economy, released by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

At the store of Chenzhou Holiday Travel Agency Co., Ltd., when a tourists from South Korea scanned the QR code of “Chenzhou Cultural and Tourism Integrity Publicity” on the wall, the information about the company name, unified social credit code, and integrity classification rating was clearly displayed. She signed the travel contract on the spot.

The credit disclosure mechanism covering 119 key cultural and tourism enterprises in the city has become a consumption guide for travelers.

The foundation of this innovative mechanism lies in three major practices in Chenzhou. The first is the “Credit QR Code” public disclosure system pioneered by the city, through which tourists could scan the QR code to obtain the full name, credit code, real-time rating and commitment fulfillment status of a company. The second is a “five-dimensional commitment” information system, which has collected over 1,000 pieces of credit data in five categories, including tolerance acceptance and credit repair. The third is the “Credit Chenzhou” platform, which integrates data from eight fields including tourism, transportation, accommodation and catering. The regulatory model of random selection of both target companies and inspectors and credit evaluation is implemented to reduce the frequency of inspection for enterprises with good integrity and strengthen supervision of dishonest entities.

In 2024, based on credit evaluation results, Chenzhou distributed more than 1.08 million yuan in reward funds to 17 travel agencies that operate with integrity. In the same year, Chenzhou received 76.53 million tourists, with a total tourism revenue exceeding 110 billion yuan. The number of tourists received and tourism revenue continued to rank second in the province.
