The 3rd Chenzhou Youth Boxing and Sanda Championships was held from January 17 to 18 in Yongxing County of Chenzhou City. It attracted 7 representative teams and 113 athletes from Chenzhou City.
The competition included two major events: boxing and Sanda, with multiple groups and weight levels from 28 kilograms to 75 kilograms.
As the “hometown of martial arts in Hunan Province”, Yongxing County has been promoting martial arts in schools. This competition was a test of the achievements of the integration of sports and education.
In the end, the Yongxing County representative team won the group championships of boxing and Sanda, while Beihu District and Guiyang County won the second and third place respectively in boxing group, and Suxian District and Beihu District won the second and third place respectively in Sanda group.
