Chenzhou athlete Liu Huanhua listed among China’s top ten

Liu Huanhua, an athlete from Chenzhou City, was included in the list of top ten athletes in China for 2025 selected by the sports department of Xinhua News recently.

In the men's 102kg final of the 15th National Games, Liu Huanhua achieved a total score of 414kg, surpassing his own world record of 413kg in this category and setting a new national record.

So far, he has claimed all gold medals from the Olympic Games, World Championships, World Cup, Asian Games and National Games, becoming the first male weightlifter in China to achieve a “grand slam”.
