The 2025 China Canoe Tour Competition Annual Finals ended in Yuanling, Hunan Province on October 26. Contestants Chen Junmin and Li Tingting from Chenzhou City won a total of 3 gold medals.

As a national event hosted by the Water Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and the Chinese Canoe Association, this final includes three core events of 200-meter, 500-meter straight-line racing, and 15-kilometer long-distance endurance race.

Chen Junmin, a contestant from Chenzhou, made a breakthrough in the men's single kayak event of the professional group, winning the dual championships of 500m straight-track racing and 15km long-distance endurance race, demonstrating his all-around competitive skills that combine explosive power and endurance.

Li Tingting defeated other competitors in the professional women’s singles rowing event and won the gold medal, demonstrating the charm of competitive sports with superb skills.

This competition adopts a deep integration mode involving sports, cultural tourism and culture, with 189 top athletes from across the country competing on the “most beautiful water track”.

The outstanding performances of Chen Junmin and Li Tingting not only won honors for Chenzhou, but also corresponded to the core connotation of inheriting the enterprising spirit in sports events.

The event has built a high-level competitive platform and promoted the popularization of water sports. The outstanding achievements of the athletes in Chenzhou will further stimulate the enthusiasm of young people to participate in sports exercise, and help promote the development of competitive sports and national fitness.
