A volunteer from Fenghuang Flower Association of Xiamen University asked students if they could imagine an Ultraman say "Happy Birthday" to them on an online teaching platform on December 2. Then, such an AI generated blessing video was played, instantly igniting the enthusiasm and amazement of 133 students from four township schools in Xujiadong Town, Wugaishan Town, Feitianshan Town, and Qifengdu Town on the other end of the screen.
In the theme class of “AI Ignites Learning and Life”, volunteers led students to experience AI assisted memorization, essay optimization, image and video creation, and other functions through demonstrations, guiding students to experience intelligent technology.
The course integrates both independent thinking guidance and personal information protection education, allowing students to experience the joy of technology and improve the awareness of internet safety.
The “Feiyun Classroom” education assistance plan is promoted and implemented by a graduates team in Suxian District, adopting online and offline ways. Up to now, a total of 5 online and 4 offline teaching courses have been launched, covering various fields such as healthy eating, creative crafts, and learning methods.
In the near future, it will carry out intangible cultural heritage inheritance, calligraphy creation and others at Qiaokou School in Feitianshan Town, continuously injecting diverse vitality into rural education in Suxian District, and helping rural students broaden their horizons.
