During the activity, Li Yanqing, the representative inheritor of the municipal intangible cultural heritage, explained the historical origin, unique artistic characteristics and profound cultural connotation of paper cuttings, and patiently guided students to cut beautiful paper-cut patterns.

Each piece of red paper was cut into meaningful patterns. While cutting, everyone felt the charm of the traditional culture. Later, some students even put on paper cuttings cloud shoulders (yunjian) and gave a performance.
