Yindu Elderly Care Center, a key livelihood project in Yongxing County of Chenzhou City, was completed, and will be officially put into operation on October 28.

This marks a crucial step for Yongxing County in building a new model of elderly healthcare services, which will provide a high-quality and professional new choice for the elderly in the county.

Yindu Elderly Care Center is located next to Bitang Avenue in Bianjiang Subdistrict, with convenient transportation. The center has a senior care building, reception center, senior university, leisure and entertainment area, and more than 200 beds. It is equipped with barrier-free facilities and intelligent call systems to meet diversified needs such as daily care, health rehabilitation, and spiritual comfort.

Kuang Yan’e, vice president of the Yongxing County People's Hospital, said, “The center has dementia and disability care areas, which are equipped with nursing beds and rehabilitation equipment according to the standards of rehabilitation hospitals to ensure that the basic care for bedridden elderly, such as posture care and pressure ulcer prevention, reaches a medical level.”

In addition to solid medical support, Yindu Elderly Care Center adopts an innovative model of “medical and elderly care”, focusing on rehabilitation and elderly care, palliative care, diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases in the elderly, and serving as a demonstration institution for the combination of medical and elderly care.

It also has community public service functions, allowing the elderly to enjoy intimate services and meet their all-round needs in body, mind, and spirit.
