The second Jiahe County Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Night Market Free Clinic was held at Jiahe Civic Square of Jiahe County, Chenzhou City at 7:00 p.m. on the evening of September 12.

There were multiple functional areas at the event site, each crowded with citizens. In the free clinic area of renowned TCM experts in the province, a large number of citizens lined up for medical consultation.

There was also a team composed of doctors from many departments of Jiahe County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, such as Internal Medicine of TCM, Orthopaedics, Tumor and Vascular Intervention Department, acupuncture and moxibustion.

In the appropriate technology experience area of TCM, many TCM therapies, such as acupuncture and moxibustion, massage, moxibustion, cupping are available for the public for free. Several medical staff explained the principle and scope of application of each therapy to the public while operating.

The handmade TCM sachet area became a playground for children and  attracted many parents. The staff prepared in advance various TCM materials with mosquito repellent and calming effects, such as mugwort leaves, huoxiang, lilacs, as well as materials for making sachets, silk threads, etc.

Under the patient guidance of medical staff, everyone carefully selected and weighed medicinal herbs, and sewed sachets.

In addition, there were also several other areas, including a demonstration area for teaching cardiopulmonary resuscitation emergency first aid knowledge, a distribution area for health education materials, a free blood pressure and glucose measurement area, a tea tasting area for TCM Tonic Diet, and a TCM puzzle interaction area. Each area attracted a large number of citizens.
