The first domestic service and elderly care neighborhood in Chenzhou City was officially opened in Dongfeng Community, Renminlu Subdistrict of Beihu District on August 8.
It started construction in May this year, with a total length of about 2 kilometers, covering an area of over 2,000 square meters, and a total investment of more than 1.5 million yuan.
In response to the demands of domestic services and elderly care in old communities, this project aims to create a new community service model that integrates full age services, full process follow-up, and full chain coverage, providing comprehensive life services and employment support for residents in Beihu District, especially the elderly.
At present, it has attracted 11 local domestic and elderly care enterprises to settle in, with six core service areas for vocational skills training, community elderly care canteen, domestic service gig employment platform, community home-based elderly care and day care center, rehabilitation therapy center, and domestic wellness training base.
It can provide 40 items of professional services such as meal assistance and delivery, home cleaning, personal care and medical accompaniment. It is expected to train over 500 professional workers annually, serve more than 3,000 households, create over 2,000 job opportunities, and benefit over 50,000 residents in the surrounding area.
