The Mangshan Agricultural Products Distribution Center in Yizhang County was officially established recently. The center integrates multiple functions such as procurement, sorting, packaging, testing, warehousing, and logistics, which will radiate into surrounding towns and villages (groups) and become an important window and distribution hub for high-quality agricultural products in Yizhang County to directly access the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area market.

Such problems as difficulty in agricultural products sales and cumbersome circulation processes have plagued farmers for a long time. To enable high-quality agricultural products from Yizhang County to enter the vast market, the Mangshan Agricultural Product Distribution Center was established in Huangsha Town at the foot of Mangshan Mountain.

“Previously, we had to take good care of our crops and spend a lot of time and energy finding sales channels, which was really exhausting. Now, through this distribution center, all we need to do is to focus on farming and we can sell high-quality agricultural products without leaving our homes.” said a blueberry farmer.

This year, Yizhang County has actively explored a diversified business model that integrates centralized distribution center, cooperative, base and farmers based on its unique advantages in location, transportation, and natural endowments.

The centermarks the transformation from decentralized production to centralized management, and from extensive operation to standardized production. It can effectively solve the long-standing problems of multiple circulation links, high losses, and low efficiency, greatly shortening the transportation distance and time for agricultural products.
